This is another variation on Herb Flax Crackers that is fresh, wholesome and tasty!

I love the smooth texture from the Flaxseed meal, and the Flaxseed gel helps hold them together.

Herb Flax Crackers

Ingredients
  1. 1 or more Cups of golden Flaxseed meal
  2. 3 TB whole golden Flaxseed gel
  3. 1 medium Zucchini
  4. 1 small sweet or mild Onion
  5. 2 Cloves fresh Garlic
  6. Sea Salt
  7. 4 soft Medjool Dates, pitted
  8. Juice of 1 Lime
  9. 1 Handful fresh Italian Parsley
  10. 1 Handful fresh Basil
  11. 1 Handful fresh Cilantro
Instructions
  1. Using a clear 32 oz Mason Jar, fill about 1/3 way up with golden Flaxseed Meal
  2. Cover with water and let soak until it makes a really thick gel
  3. This should fill about half the Mason Jar
  4. Add the 3 TB of whole Flaxseed Gel
  5. Peel Onions & Garlic
  6. Blend all ingredients together in food processor (I don't peel Zucchini but you can)
  7. Taste and add Salt or natural sweetener if necessary
  8. Spread very thinly & evenly on dehydrator trays
  9. Dehydrate a few hours until dry enough to flip
  10. Flip and dehydrate until dry & crispy
  11. Store in sealed bag or container in cupboard

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 Cup soaked Buckwheat groats (soaked for a few hours or overnight)
  2. 1 Cup or more thick Flaxseed gel (soak golden flaxseeds in water 1:1 ratio for a few hours to make a gel)
  3. Sea Salt
  4. 4 soft Medjool Dates
  5. 1 handful Fresh Parsley
  6. 1 handful Fresh Basil
  7. 1 handful Fresh Parsley
  8. 4 Cloves Fresh Garlic, peeled
  9. Juice from 1 Lime
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients together in food processor until smooth.
  2. Taste and add more salt or a natural sweetener if necessary
  3. Spread batter thinly & evenly on dehydrator sheets
  4. Spread batter thick enough to cover tray but try to keep thin if possible
  5. Dehydrate at 115F for a few hours until dry enough to flip over
  6. Flip and dehydrate until dry and crispy
  7. Store in a sealed bag or container in cupboard

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 Cup Coconut Flour
  2. 1 Cup dried Coconut flakes, soaked
  3. 8 soft Medjool Dates
  4. 1/2 Cup natural oil free dried Bananas, soaked
  5. 2 Cups fresh sweet Pineapple
  6. 5 Kumquats
  7. Dash of Cinnamon
  8. Dash of Sea Salt
  9. 2 TB Honey (optional)
Instructions
  1. Pre soak Coconut chips or flakes & dried Bananas until soft enough to blend
  2. Blend everything together in food processor until smooth
  3. Spread on Dehydrator trays
  4. Dehydrate on 115F until dry enough to flip over
  5. Flip and keep drying until texture is like a soft, moist bread
  6. Dry less if you want cake, dry more if you want a bread
  7. Keep sealed in fridge
Notes
  1. You can frost this with a sweet creamy frosting and it will be a fabulous tropical tasting cake!

Ingredients
  1. 4 ripe Pears
  2. 2 ripe soft Hachiya Persimmons (or Fuyu if very sweet)
  3. 1 C raw Almonds (soaked for a few hours if desired)
  4. 1 C raw Coconut Flour
  5. 10 soft Medjool dates (soak if desired)
  6. 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  7. Drizzle of sweetener (honey, agave, or your choice)
  8. dash sea Salt
  9. Sprinkle Cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Pit dates
  2. Peel Persimmons (if possible)
  3. Pit & de-stem Pears
  4. Chop Almonds into half or thirds (add at end)
  5. Blend all ingredients in food processor until fairly smooth
  6. A drizzle of your favorite sweetener (if desired)
  7. Toss or stir in chopped almonds and blend (try to keep their size)
  8. Spread dough evenly onto a solid dehydrator sheet
  9. Dehydrate at 118F 3-5 hours or until top starts getting dry
  10. Carefully flip over and dehydrate a few more hours until bread is dry on outside but soft & chewy inside
  11. Store in sealed container in fridge

Ingredients
  1. 1 Cup raw Coconut flour
  2. 1 Cup hulled Buckwheat groats, soaked 1 hr
  3. 2 TB Flax seeds & 1 TB Chia seeds, soaked in a little water to a very thick gel
  4. 1 Cup raw Pecans, soaked 1/2 hr
  5. 1-2 TB Poppy Seeds (optional)
  6. 1 TB Psyllium, soaked in a little water until very thick gel
  7. 1 Cup pitted Medjool Dates, soaked a few hrs
  8. Generous sprinkle Cinnamon
  9. Sprinkle of Sea Salt
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together in food processor until smooth.
  2. Add more/less of certain ingredients if bread dough is too dry or too wet
  3. Shaped into little loaves or rolls about 2 in. high on dehydrator sheets.
  4. Dehydrate at 115F until crusty on top then flip (probably 5-6 hrs)
  5. Keep dehydrating until crusty on outside & soft like baked bread in middle.
Notes
  1. The SECRET to this bread is the Psyllium! This soft & chewy bread is fabulous with jam, nut butters or any other spread you can think of.
